The #Saskatchewan province of #Canada is on a spree of inviting more and more candidates by organizing frequent draws to meet the market labour needs of the province. The October 31st draw invited 858 Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand candidates to apply for provincial nomination.

The draw held under the #Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, which neither requires a job offer in the province nor requires Canadian work experience to be eligible to receive an invitation.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program’s Express Entry category is directly connected to Federal Express Entry system which manages the pool of candidates for three main skilled worker immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class, whereas the Occupation In-Demand category is open to all candidates with or without an Express Entry profile.

The latest October 31 draw had a minimum score of 69 for Express Entry candidates and 58 for occupation in-demand to be eligible for the invitation. The draw issued invitations to candidates in 58 occupations such as human resources professionals, Information systems analysts and consultants, database analysts and data administrators, Drafting technologists and technicians, and Aircrafts mechanics and aircraft inspectors. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) also issued invitations to eligible candidates having 68 points as well as a minimum of 10 years of work experience and CLB 7 or above in language proficiency test.

In addition to this, the Federal Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination must have a profile in the Express Entry pool to receive an additional 600 points towards their CRS score, it also cemented their chance of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada permanent residence.

Marching on the road of issuing invitations to candidates to apply for a provincial nomination, Saskatchewan has issued about 4,704 invitations in the past six weeks.
