Provincial Nominee Program Issued Over 3,000 Invitation in November

--

In total, 23 draws were held specific to the Provincial Nominee Program except Ontario, suggesting that the quota for 2021 has been completed.

Every province and territory in Canada has its own immigration program, and during November, Canada’s PNP called for 3000 invitations to apply for the provincial nomination.

Though almost all the provinces have their own Provincial Nominee Program, Quebec and Nunavut are exceptions.

Should You Apply for Canada PNP Programs?

This program allows provinces to select immigrants that fit the local market and also take care of immigrant settlements under their jurisdiction. Due to this Provincial Nominee Program, the provinces have the upper hand in selecting immigrants. It is one of the easiest pathways to get a permanent residency for immigrants in Canada.

Through this route, most immigrants are becoming permanent residents. In fact, it is estimated that by 2023, around 80,000 immigrants will be admitted as permanent residents in Canada. IRCC holds every two weeks every year, and this November, there were two PNP-specific express entry draws mainly for PNP candidates on November 10th and 24th.

British Columbia

In British Columbia, around 869 candidates were invited through Skills Immigration and Express Entry British Columbia. Manitoba conducted two draws where 849 were issued letters of Advice, with 149 being given to valid profiles.

Saskatchewan

In the same way, other provinces invited applications under the Provincial Nomination Program, and Saskatchewan issued the highest number where it issued 663 invitations to apply for the program.

For candidates to apply for permanent residency, they must first check if they meet the Canada PNP program criteria. If they are eligible, they receive a nomination certificate to apply for permanent residence using that certificate.
