British Columbia Organizes The Final Draw Of The Year On December 29

Canadian provinces have managed to brave the pandemic and organize PNP draws at regular intervals for eligible candidates. British Columbia organized its final draw of the year on December 29 to end the year on a positive note. There is no doubt that B.C. will pick up right where it left off from its very first draw in 2021.

On December 29, the province issued 58 invitations via the Tech Pilot among skilled immigration candidates who already have a job offer in any technology field. The candidates who managed to secure an invitation successfully will now have the opportunity to apply for a nomination from British Columbia that will give them an upper hand in the race for permanent residence.

The candidates in the Express Entry Pool will have 600 points added to their CRS score if they get a nomination.

Details of the draw:

The Provincial Nominee Program in British Columbia or BC PNP hosted this draw under the Tech Pilot to target candidates belonging to the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories.

The Tech Pilot was introduced by the provincial government in an effort to provide international students and skilled tech workers with a fast-track immigration pathway. The applicants have the benefit of weekly draws and their applications enjoy priority processing.

The subcategories targeted by BC PNP in this draw were International Graduate and Skilled Worker. The required provincial score was 80 or more for all candidates. The chosen candidates had an existing job offer spanning a minimum of 12 months in one of the 29 qualifying occupations listed under the Tech Pilot.

If you are interested in applying under the Tech Pilot through any of the categories, you must make a profile for yourself via the Skills Immigration Registration System.
