British Columbia Invites 76 Candidates

British Columbia is one of the provinces that execute immigration draws effortlessly. On November 17, British Columbia organized a draw to issue invitations to eligible candidates who are interested in the prospect of getting a provincial nomination. Candidates who want to become permanent residents in the long run benefit from a provincial nomination because they get an extra 600 CRS points. As a result, it is much more likely that they will get selected during the next Express Entry draw.

Details of the draw

During the November 17 draw, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued invitations to 76 eligible candidates. They belonged to the Skills Immigration and the Express Entry BC streams. For this particular draw, the B.C. Tech Pilot played a prominent role because the province opted for the International Graduate and Skilled Worker subcategories.

British Columbia distributes invitations via the Tech Pilot weekly. The BC PNP Tech Pilot provides a beneficial pathway for both international students and in-demand tech workers.

Requirements

Applicants who were invited in this draw had to show that they had job offers in any of the 29 qualifying tech occupations. The job offers should span for a year at the very least. The candidate with the lowest CRS score who got an invitation had 80 points. Computer and information systems managers, web designers and developers, audio/ video recording technicians and civil engineers are just some of the professionals who can make their way to Canada via the Tech Pilot program.

The candidates who managed to secure an invitation will now be able to submit their application within the next 30 days.
